The Aviation Division's Modification & Upgrade Center is looking for an experienced UX/UI Designer to join the HXE (Human eXperience Engineering) team.

We are seeking a talented professional to join a diverse and highly skilled team specializing in the design and specification of complex systems, working on multidisciplinary projects across various technological domains.

What the Role Includes:

• Leading UX and UI design activities for complex systems, with minimal reliance on AI-based design tools.

• Involvement throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial requirements definition and operational concept development through UI design, development support, and product validation.

• Conducting user research, defining concepts of operation, task analysis, and operational scenarios while integrating customer, project, and environmental requirements.

• Creating detailed specifications, wireframes, mockups, interactive simulations, and demonstrative prototypes.

• Producing graphical assets and design deliverables for development teams.

• Applying Human Factors Engineering principles alongside UX and UI methodologies.

• Working according to structured methodologies and well-defined engineering processes.

• Collaborating with customers, development teams, and stakeholders in Israel and abroad.

• Preparing for and participating in design reviews and technical evaluations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, or outstanding professional training in one of the following fields (or equivalent): Industrial Design, Human Factors Engineering, UX/UI, Psychology, Neuroscience, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Industrial Engineering with relevant UX/UI experience – Required.

• At least 5 years of proven experience in designing and specifying complex systems – Required.

• Portfolio demonstrating relevant UX/UI experience with complex systems – Required.

• High-level UI design capabilities using tools such as Sketch and/or Lunacy, including pixel-perfect execution – Required.

• High proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) – Required.

• Experience writing professional documentation, including OCD, ORS, and SG specifications – Required.

• Human Factors (HF) certification/license – Advantage.

• Ability to translate designs into code using HTML, CSS/SCSS, React, Angular, or similar technologies – Advantage.

• Strong ability to work independently, lead initiatives, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain high levels of organization, adapt to changing priorities, and demonstrate creativity, curiosity, and analytical thinking.
