Head of Branch Systems Development

Comblack is hiring a Head of Core Banking Systems Development Department!

This is an opportunity to lead core banking systems, manage large technology teams, and drive an AI-based technological transformation in a mission-critical environment.

In this role, you will manage a development department that includes development, system analysis, integration, and QA teams. You will lead complex end-to-end projects in a critical business environment, while driving advanced Software Engineering practices, DevOps processes, automation, and continuous improvement.

The role also includes defining and implementing an AI strategy within the development organization, ensuring the stability, availability, and quality of core branch systems, and working closely with senior management, business stakeholders, and technology units across the organization.

What we’re looking for:

5+ years of experience managing managers and development teams

Experience managing a significant technology unit of dozens of employees

Experience with financial / banking systems — must

10+ years of experience in software development and leading delivery of complex systems

Experience leading technological transformation and implementing advanced Software Engineering practices

Experience implementing AI tools in the development lifecycle — significant advantage
