Electro-Mechanical Actuators Design Engineer

Eshed Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Electro-Mechanical Actuators and Mechanisms to join a leading defense organization in the Central District.

In this position, you will take a central role in designing next-generation systems, defining subsystem specifications, and leading multi-disciplinary integration efforts.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the detailed mechanical design of complex mechanisms and electro-mechanical actuators, ensuring strict compliance with system-level requirements.

Author requirement specifications, design sub-assemblies, perform strength calculations, conduct Design Reviews, and compile comprehensive testing documentation.

Drive multi-disciplinary project engineering by working continuously with diverse internal hardware, electronics, and manufacturing teams across the production plant.

Job Requirements: Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering – Mandatory.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven, hands-on experience in mechanical design and advanced manufacturing workflows – Mandatory.

Electrical Competency: Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics – Mandatory.

Proficient working knowledge of Siemens NX CAD software within a Teamcenter (TC) environment - Advantage.

Experience with static and dynamic analysis software (such as Ansys or Nastran) - Advantage.

Familiarity with transmission and drivetrain design tools like KISSoft - Advantage.
