Cyber Security Engineer (Defense Systems) | Central Israel

A leading defense company is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join its CISO team and lead the cyber protection of advanced weapon systems and critical infrastructures.

What you’ll do:

Design and implement cyber defense architectures for weapon systems (OT & IT environments)

Define security standards, policies, and methodologies

Lead implementation of security solutions and manage related projects

Collaborate with red teams, penetration testing, and cyber operations teams

Requirements:

B.Sc. in Computer Science, Exact Sciences, or a related field – required

5+ years of hands-on experience in Cyber Security – required

Strong knowledge of cyber security standards (NIST 800, MOD/IMOD, etc.) – required

High level of English (written & spoken) – required

Experience in securing defense/weapon systems – strong advantage

Strong analytical and research capabilities – advantage

Experience in project management and tenders – advantage
