Backend & DevOps Software Engineer

An established technology company in the telecommunications and enterprise voice domain, serving enterprise customers worldwide, is looking for a talented Software Engineer to join its Backend Microservices team.

The company develops secure voice infrastructure, unified communications, contact center integrations, and next-generation AI-powered voice solutions for enterprise customers. This role is part of a team building a modern Azure-based SaaS platform that connects bots to high-performance SIP applications.

The position offers a hybrid work model, with two days from home, and combines backend microservices development with meaningful DevOps ownership in a cloud-native production environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain large-scale backend microservices using Node.js and NestJS.

Build and optimize scalable, high-performance SaaS services running on Azure.

Work hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Helm in production-grade environments.

Implement and improve infrastructure, deployment processes, and cloud-native workflows.

Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate backend services with high-performance SIP applications.

Troubleshoot production issues across application, infrastructure, networking, and database layers.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of backend development experience -must.

Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and NestJS -must.

Solid DevOps knowledge, including Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm -must.

Experience with Git and Linux environments.

Experience with networking concepts such as routing, NAT, TLS, proxies, and DNS.

Experience working with cloud environments; Azure is preferred.

Database experience with SQL and MongoDB.

Strong problem-solving skills and good communication abilities.
