As we continue to expand our operations, currently in India, Trico Global has a significant production and construction project in India. The project is being executed both through Tico Global and its subsidiary in India. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced controller to join our team.
Position Summary
The controller will control the Israeli activity of Trico Global. This role will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, manage budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with local regulations and international group reporting standards. Additionally, the controller will supervise and monitor the activity of the subsidiary’s local Indian finance team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong commercial, analytical and communication skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while establishing new financial processes.
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with Israeli GAAP and IFRS.
Budgeting, Forecasting, and Quoting Support: Develop and manage the annual budget and rolling forecasts. Collaborate with departments and project managers to develop accurate financial projections. Support quoting, tendering, and bidding processes.
Compliance and Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with local rules and tax regulations.
Implement and maintain effective internal control procedures.
Coordinate with external auditors, attorneys, and tax advisors.
Cash Management: Manage cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity.
Qualifications
Required:
Experienced CPA.
Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial management or a senior controlling role, preferably in a medium-sized company or a subsidiary of an international group.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Experience overseeing payroll processing and related tax filings.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong communication o and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel to India occasionally to support and supervise on local finance team.
English – a must
Preferred:
Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
Experience with IFRS.
Experience working in a multinational group.
Experience in industrial and projects companies and managing financial aspects of large-scale projects, including Work in Progress (WIP) and rate of completion calculations.
