A fast-growing startup in the FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) space is looking for a strong Senior Backend Engineer to join a highly technical team building a complex SaaS platform for Enterprise customers.

The platform enables CFOs and FP&A teams to centralize financial data, run real-time forecasting and simulations, and process massive amounts of financial data through a proprietary high-performance calculation engine. The company is also expanding into AI and Agentic AI capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable backend systems and core infrastructure

• Develop Microservices and Event Driven systems

• Work with large-scale, data-intensive distributed systems

• Take ownership of architecture and end-to-end development

• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams

Requirements:

• 5+ years of strong Backend development experience with Python, Must-have

• Experience building complex SaaS systems

• Experience with Microservices and Event Driven Architecture

• Experience with high-scale or high-performance systems

• Strong architectural thinking and ownership mindset

• Experience working with large amounts of data

Tech Stack:

Python, Redis, PostgreSQL, AWS, Celery

Location:

Tel Aviv, hybrid model, 4 days from the office.
