Junior Cyber Architect – Infrastructure & Cloud

Role Description

We are looking for a talented Junior Cyber Architect to join our Information Security team, specializing in IT infrastructure and cloud environments, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. The role includes responsibility for designing, implementing, and enhancing security solutions across cloud and on‑prem environments, while collaborating closely with Engineering, IT, and SecOps teams.

Requirements

Valid Security Clearance Level 3 or higher – strong advantage

At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in IT or SecOps roles – must

Ability to provide hands‑on support with security tools when needed (not the main focus of the role, but occasional assistance to SecOps teams is required)

Experience in designing and implementing security solutions in Azure, including Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, etc.

Conducting risk assessments, gap analyses, and providing recommendations for improving cloud and on‑prem security

Experience with policy definition, hardening, permissions management, and security controls implementation – strong advantage

Experience writing architecture documents, procedures, and security reports – strong advantage

Strong familiarity with cloud security services such as Azure Defender, Sentinel, Key Vault, IAM – must

Basic knowledge of network protocols, Windows/Linux operating systems, and hardening practices

Relevant certifications (e.g., AZ‑500, SC‑200) – advantage

Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of networking and communication protocols, including experience in managing and maintaining network environments – advantage

Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V or similar)

Full proficiency in Active Directory administration – must

Experience in hardening Windows and Linux environments – strong advantage

Familiarity with Israeli security processes, military/defense background – advantage

Experience in writing technical specifications and engineering‑level requirements – advantage
