DevOps Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Team Lead to lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers while remaining hands-on with architecture, automation, and delivery processes. In this role, you will drive the adoption of DevOps best practices, design scalable CI/CD solutions, and support multiple projects throughout the software development lifecycle. You will work closely with development, integration, architecture, and security teams to improve delivery speed, reliability, and operational excellence

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of DevOps engineers while maintaining a hands-on technical role.

Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.

Drive DevOps culture, methodologies, and best practices across projects and teams.

Build and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure deployment processes.

Support development and integration teams throughout release and deployment cycles.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions and configuration management processes.

Continuously improve system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with engineering, security, and customer-facing teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements:

4+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer.

3+ years of experience leading and managing DevOps teams of 5+ engineers.

Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools.

Strong experience with Git-based source control and configuration management.

Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python and Bash.

Experience working with Linux and Windows environments.

Hands-on experience with Docker containers.

Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.

Experience working with Helm.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Advantages:

Experience with OpenShift.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and secure software delivery.

Experience working with public and private cloud environments, particularly AWS.

B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
