UCT is looking for a talented Mechanical Designer to join us in Israel!

Job Summary

Developing new products in flow transmission accessories and solutions for the semiconductor industry and high-pressure systems under extreme conditions.

Job Requirements

Perform static and dynamic structural analyses, including nonlinear simulations, optimization, and analytical calculations

Evaluate structural integrity and performance under various loading conditions (thermal, dynamic, fatigue, etc.)

Drive design optimization by updating CAD components and assemblies

Interpret simulation and test results to support design improvements and engineering decisions

Plan and lead experimental testing activities for design validation and verification

Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation

Required Skills

BSc (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience applying structural FEA analysis to real-world products, including validation with test data

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Strong foundation in strength of materials, structural mechanics, and mechanical design principles

Experience performing static, dynamic, nonlinear, and optimization analyses

Excellent technical communication and reporting skills

Good English

Ways To Stand Out

Graduated with honors

MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, demonstrating strong self-learning and independent research capabilities

Proficiency in technical analysis tools such as MATLAB and/or Python

Experience with SolidWorks CAD tool

Hands-on experience with ANSYS Workbench (FEA)

Knowledge of thermal, thermodynamic, and flow analyses (CFD)
