    Medital Novelty is expanding and looking for a Sales & Applications Engineer for a meaningful, challenging, and dynamic role that combines engineering expertise, customer interaction, and the development of advanced mechanical solutions for the Israeli industry.

    We work with leading companies across Israeli industries and support customers from the concept and design stage through implementation and production.

    Position Overview

    The role involves providing technical and commercial support for advanced mechanical systems and machine components to leading customers in industries such as semiconductor, electronics, medical devices, printing, robotics, and industrial automation.

    This position combines Application Engineering with full-cycle technical sales responsibilities — from requirement definition and solution development through quotation preparation, negotiations, implementation, and pre- and post-sales support.

    Key Responsibilities

    Technical Learning & Knowledge Sharing

    Continuously learn and develop expertise in products, technologies, solutions, and applications.

    Transfer technical knowledge internally and externally to customers and relevant teams.

    Customer Engagement & Company Representation

    Represent the company and present solutions during customer meetings, exhibitions, conferences, seminars, and technical training sessions.

    Build strong long-term relationships with customers and business partners.

    Project & Customer Management

    Support customers and projects from initial requirements and design discussions through quotation, order closure, delivery, and customer approval.

    Manage opportunities and maintain close follow-up throughout the project lifecycle.

    Solution Development & Application Support

    Define and customize engineering solutions based on customer requirements, working conditions, and technical specifications.

    Support customers in selecting optimal solutions for their applications.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    Work closely with R&D engineers, design engineers, purchasing teams, project managers, and commercial teams at customer sites.

    Coordinate with international suppliers and manufacturers regarding technical support, pricing, lead times, alternative solutions, and engineering approvals.

    Business Development

    Identify new customers and business opportunities.

    Expand activities with both existing and new customers.

    Analyze customer needs and market trends to support growth initiatives.

    Requirements:

    Education

    B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.

    Experience

    1–3 years of experience in engineering, applications, mechanical design, or technical sales – an advantage.

    Technical Skills

    Strong technical understanding with the ability to quickly learn products, systems, and engineering applications.

    Ability to read technical drawings, understand specifications, and analyze customer requirements.

    Strong computer skills, familiarity with relevant AI tools, and experience with CAD software – an advantage.

    Personal Skills

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer-oriented mindset.

    Proactive approach with high initiative and self-motivation.

    Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Languages & Mobility

    High level of English (written and spoken).

    Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently across Israel.

    Compensation & Benefits

    Full-time position (Sunday–Thursday, 08:30–17:30)
