Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Banquet Manager at Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem, located in West Jerusalem. The Banquet Manager will oversee all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring memorable guest experiences. Responsibilities include planning and executing events, managing banquet staff, maintaining high standards of food and beverage service, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The individual will collaborate with clients, coordinate with other departments, oversee hiring and training for banquet team members, and uphold the hotel’s legendary service standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience in Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a strong commitment to delivering premier guest experiences.
Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to lead effective dialogues with clients, staff, and other departments.
Knowledge and expertise in Food & Beverage operations, including planning and executing high-quality banquet services.
Experience in Hiring and training staff to maintain operational excellence and exceptional hospitality standards.
Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage teams efficiently in a high-paced environment.
Proficient in conflict resolution and problem-solving to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred, but equivalent professional experience in banquet or event management will also be considered.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Familiarity with cultural and hospitality standards in Jerusalem is an advantage.
