A high-tech company in the robotics industry is seeking a Motion Control Systems

Responsibilities

Lead system architecture and integration of power electronics, embedded software, control algorithms, and mechanics.

Own the full development lifecycle through validation and production release.

Translate R&D into scalable, reliable, and cost-effective products.

Implement structured development methodologies (Agile, stage-gate).

Lead and align multidisciplinary R&D teams across Israel and Germany.

Establish strong engineering standards, design reviews, and validation processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering\ Computer Science

10+ years of R&D experience in electromechanical or motion control systems.

Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Strong background in power electronics and real-time embedded systems (DSP, MCU, or FPGA).

Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems and modeling tools such as MATLAB/Simulink.

Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherCAT, CANopen).

Experience with standards-driven products; functional safety per IEC standards – advantage.
