Role Description
We're looking for a People & Operations Manager (HR) to become a key partner to the CEO and help scale both our team and internal operations.
This is not a "classic HR" role — and it's not a senior HRBP or Head of People role either. You will own the full employee lifecycle while also acting as the operational backbone of the company. You'll get your hands dirty, build from scratch, and work directly with the CEO on real decisions.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Tel Aviv.
What You’ll Do
Lead end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, interviewing, and closing top talent
Build and implement employee growth plans, performance frameworks, and retention strategies
Act as a trusted right hand to the CEO on people and organizational decisions
Own onboarding processes and ensure a high-quality employee experience
Foster a strong, high-performance company culture
Manage HR operations: contracts, policies, compliance, and employee relations
Oversee office management and day-to-day operations
Handle basic financial operations (e.g., invoices, vendor coordination, admin processes)
Identify and implement process improvements across the company
What We're Looking For
3–6 years of hands-on experience in HR / People Operations — ideally as a sole or first HR hire in a startup or small tech company
Proven experience owning end-to-end recruitment and employee lifecycle — not just supporting or assisting
Experience with office management and day-to-day operations — this is a core part of the role, not a side task
Comfortable being the only HR person in the room — you build the processes, you execute them
Strong execution mindset — you make things happen without waiting for a team or a big budget
Experience in startups or small tech companies (under 100 employees) — this is a strong requirement, not just an advantage
Fluent in Hebrew and English
This role is probably NOT for you if:
You come from large corporations or teams of 200+ employees
You're looking for a strategic/advisory HRBP role without operational responsibilities
Your background is primarily office management without real HR experience
You're expecting a senior compensation package
