Israel Hayom is the most widely read newspaper in Israel, reaching over 1.5 million readers weekly, alongside a strong digital presence with over 7 million monthly visits. Our Digital team plays a key role in driving data-informed decisions across content and product.

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Digital Department.

In this role, you will analyze data, build dashboards, and generate actionable insights to support decision-making, improve performance, and optimize digital products and content.

Responsibilities

Analyze data from multiple sources and generate actionable insights

Build reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders

Work extensively with Excel for data analysis and reporting

Query databases using SQL

Present insights and data-driven recommendations to digital, content, and management teams

Support ongoing optimization and performance improvement processes

Requirements

4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in a complex business environment

Strong SQL and advanced Excel skills

Proven experience building dashboards, KPI frameworks, and business reports using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)

Experience translating data into actionable business insights and presenting findings to stakeholders and leadership

Strong analytical thinking with the ability to work with ambiguous business questions, identify data gaps, and define meaningful KPIs

Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources

Advantages:

Experience in digital/media/content environments

Experience with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Chartbeat, or Mixpanel
