QA Engineer – Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of product quality across our trading platforms and internal systems. The role combines hands-on testing, test automation, and quality strategy, ensuring reliability in both customer-facing features and internal automation processes.

Given the sensitive nature of financial data, maintaining accuracy, stability, and data integrity is critical.

What You’ll Do

Own the quality lifecycle: test planning, execution, reporting, and continuous improvement

Design and implement automated test frameworks for backend, APIs, and UI

Validate complex workflows, including AI-driven features and automated processes

Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure high quality releases

Build and maintain test environments and data strategies, including isolation of sensitive data

Define and track key quality metrics (coverage, defects, regression stability)

Identify weak points in the system and proactively improve reliability and performance

Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

3+ years of experience in QA (manual + automation)

Strong experience in test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, PyTest)

Solid understanding of APIs, backend systems, and microservices

Experience in writing tests in Python / JavaScript / Java

Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into pipelines

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Ability to understand complex systems and validate end-to-end flows

Nice to Have

Experience in fintech, trading systems, or regulated environments

Experience testing AI-based features or data-driven systems

Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6)

Understanding of data validation and data integrity testing

Experience working in agile, fast-moving environments
