We are looking for a Research Scientist to join our AI research team and work on machine learning methods for efficient, reliable, and adaptive AI systems. Our team works on core AI research directions, including efficient model training, reasoning models, retrieval-based AI systems, and agentic learning. The role is research-oriented and is suitable for strong candidates after graduation, as well as candidates with prior research experience. The candidate will develop new methods, validate them through experiments, and help translate strong research ideas into practical NVIDIA AI systems.
What You'll Be Doing
Conduct research in machine learning methods for efficient, reliable, and adaptive AI systems.
Develop new approaches for efficient model training, reasoning models, retrieval-based AI systems, and agentic learning.
Design, run, and analyze experiments on modern deep learning systems.
Collaborate with research and engineering teams across NVIDIA.
Publish high-quality research and help translate strong research ideas into practical NVIDIA AI systems.
Contribute to NVIDIA’s broader AI research strategy.
What We Need To See
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent research experience.
At least 2 years of relevant research experience
Strong Python skills and experience with modern deep learning frameworks.
Track record of high-quality research or impactful applied research.
Ability to design experiments, analyze results, and communicate technical ideas clearly.
