Digital Health Stealth Startup-Backend Engineer-Core Team

We are a newly funded post-seed startup in the AI automation space, building advanced technology to improve connectivity and automation across the ecosystem We’re looking for a creative Backend Engineer with a passion for security to help build an exciting new product. Your role: As a Backend Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the core backend services that power our AI-driven fraud prevention platform. You will: Design and build scalable, cloud-native backend services using. Develop and optimize data pipelines, storage systems, and APIs to process real-time fraud signals. Architect and implement event-driven microservices to support large-scale data ingestion and analytics. Collaborate with product managers, security researchers and data scientists to deliver high-impact solutions. Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of backend infrastructure. Work with cloud-native technologies (GCP, Kubernetes, serverless frameworks) to deploy and manage services.

Requirements: 5+ years of software engineering experience in backend development for large-scale SaaS or data-driven applications. Strong expertise in backend technologies and modern API design. Experience building data-intensive applications, including event-driven architectures, real-time processing, or batch pipelines. Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure (GCP/AWS, Kubernetes, serverless architectures). Experience working with databases (PostgreSQL, BigQuery, or NoSQL solutions). Strong problem-solving skills, a growth mindset, and a team-oriented approach.
