A fast-growing cybersecurity startup is looking for a strong Senior Backend Engineer to join its CORE engineering team and build large-scale systems focused on enterprise data security.

The company works with massive enterprise environments, including Fortune 500 customers, building systems around permissions, data access, user behavior, and AI-driven data protection. The product also includes strong AI and Agentic AI initiatives as part of its core platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable backend systems and core infrastructure

• Develop complex backend logic around data access, permissions, and security

• Work on high-scale distributed systems and large amounts of data

• Take ownership of architecture and end-to-end development

• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams

Requirements:

• 5+ years of strong Backend development experience with Python, Must-have

• Experience building complex SaaS or distributed systems

• Experience with Microservices and Event Driven Architecture

• Experience working on high-scale or high-performance systems

• Strong architectural thinking and ownership mindset

• Experience working with large amounts of data
