AI Builder

An AI Builder acts as the AI architect for a specific department (e.g., Supply, Marketing, Finance). This is not a consulting or advisory role — the AI Builder OWNs the identification and elimination of manual workflows, replacing them with autonomous AI agents and production-ready tools. Department assignments are long-term commitments; an AI Builder embeds deeply into the department and its operations over time. The process begins with the department manager: they OWN ideation — bringing automation ideas and pain points to the AI Team. The AI Team then brainstorms and scopes the opportunity together and assigns the right AI Builder to the engagement. From that point, the department manager co-OWNs delivery: granting access, prioritizing sessions, and driving adoption within their team. Key Responsibilities ■ Process Discovery Translate department manager ideas and pain points — already scoped with the AI Team — into structured discovery sessions. The Builder role is to go deep: map the workflow, validate feasibility, and define the build scope. ■ Automation Development Build, deploy, and maintain production-ready tools and AI agents — not prototypes that live in a slide deck. ■ Performance Tracking Maintain a department-level Initiatives Index documenting all automations built, outcomes achieved, and lessons learned — enabling replication across other business units. The department manager co-OWNs this index and is accountable for its accuracy.

Requirements: ■ AI-First Builder Mindset Strong AI-first mindset — proactively seeks to automate before accepting manual work as the norm. Hands-on experience using LLMs to solve real business problems. Experience building AI agents or automation workflows end-to-end. Ability to work with APIs and integrate AI solutions into existing systems. Ability to translate AI solutions into measurable business impact. Demonstrated experience through real-world projects (not just experimentation). ■ Business Orientation Connects automation to measurable business outcomes — not just technical outputs. Understands departmental KPIs and speaks the language of the stakeholder. ■ Autonomous Execution Independently picks up 3rd-party API documentation and builds against it. Comfortable moving from idea to working prototype without hand-holding. ■ Fluent English (written and spoken). ■ At least 1 year of experience at Travelier
