Cloud & Cyber Security Engineer

abra is seeking for a Cloud & Cyber Security Engineer We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud & Cyber Security Engineer to join our information security team. This is a unique opportunity for a strong IT Infrastructure or SecOps professional with deep hands-on experience to take the next step in their career and grow into a security architecture role. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving information security solutions in both cloud and on-premises environments, acting as a key technical representative for building secure architectures. A full-time on-site position, based in North Israel. Key Responsibilities: Plan, implement, and improve information security solutions in Azure environments, including the use of Azure Security Center , Defender for Cloud , Sentinel , and more. Conduct risk assessments, gap analyses, and provide recommendations for security improvements across cloud and on-prem infrastructures. Define security policies, perform system hardening, manage permissions, and implement security controls. Prepare architecture documents, procedures, and security reports. Collaborate with SecOps teams, providing hands-on assistance with security tools when necessary (though not as a primary function of the role).

Requirements: At least 4-5 years of proven hands-on experience as an IT Infrastructure Engineer, System Engineer, or SecOps professional – Must . Strong proficiency in Active Directory management – Must . Experience designing and implementing security solutions in Azure environments. Familiarity with cloud security services such as Azure Defender , Sentinel , Key Vault , and IAM . Experience with virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar). Experience writing technical specifications and engineering-level requirements – advantage. Valid Security Clearance Level 3 or higher – significant advantage.
