As a member of the executive team, you will influence the company&apos;s long-term strategy and commercial success.</li><li><strong>Engineering Excellence:</strong> Lead, mentor, and scale a diverse team of ~40 developers, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous innovation.</li><li><strong>Product-Tech Synergy:</strong> Oversee the full SDLC with a deep understanding of product-led growth, ensuring high-quality delivery in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment.</li><li><strong>AI Integration:</strong> Champion an <strong>AI-centric mindset</strong> across the R&amp;D organization. Lead the practical implementation of AI/LLM technologies (utilizing Cursor, Claude, and modern AI stacks) to optimize internal workflows and enhance product capabilities.</li><li><strong>Infrastructure &amp; Data:</strong> Provide architectural guidance in the realms of Databases, DevOps, and Infrastructure, ensuring our systems are scalable, resilient, and cutting-edge.</li><li><strong>Business Acumen:</strong> Bridge the gap between complex technical challenges and business value. Manage the R&amp;D budget and resource allocation with a ROI-driven approach.</li><li><strong>Ecosystem Engagement:</strong> Stay at the forefront of the <strong>Open Source</strong> and <strong>DevTool</strong> communities to maintain our competitive edge.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Experience:</strong> Experience in a senior leadership role (VP R&amp;D / CTO) within a <strong>B2B SaaS</strong> company.</li><li><strong>Domain Expertise:</strong> Proven track record in building and scaling <strong>Developer Tools</strong>, <strong>Infrastructure</strong>, or <strong>Database-centric</strong> products.</li><li><strong>AI Mastery:</strong> A strong orientation toward AI/ML. You must demonstrate a hands-on understanding of how to implement AI technologies (e.g., Cursor-based development, Claude/GPT integration) to drive R&amp;D efficiency.</li><li><strong>Execution Machine:</strong> You are known for your ability to &quot;get things done.&quot; You balance high-level strategy with a deep-dive technical understanding when necessary.</li><li><strong>Management Scale:</strong> Experience managing organizations of 30-50+ people, including managers of managers.</li><li><strong>Business Mindset:</strong> Ability to report to a CEO and interact with board members, translating technical milestones into business impact.</li><li><strong>Education:</strong> B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.</li></ul> </div>
