<section class="show-more-less-html" data-max-lines="5"> <div class="show-more-less-html__markup show-more-less-html__markup--clamp-after-5 relative overflow-hidden"> <p>StoreNext is a leading B2B technology group in Israel, providing SaaS solutions across procurement, finance, and data analytics.</p><p>We are looking for a visionary and execution-driven VP R&amp;D to lead the transformation of our engineering organization into a unified, scalable, and AI-driven development group.</p><p>This is a key leadership role responsible not only for managing R&amp;D, but for building a cohesive engineering organization across multiple internal and external development teams, spanning diverse products, domains, and technologies.</p><p>As VP R&amp;D, you will define and implement a group-wide engineering strategy, introduce standardized methodologies, and lead the adoption of AI across both development processes and next-generation agent-based products.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>&#x2022; Build and lead a unified R&amp;D organization across multiple products, teams, and external vendors</p><p> &#x2022; Define and implement a group-wide engineering strategy, architecture, and operating model</p><p> &#x2022; Establish consistent development methodologies, standards, and best practices across all teams</p><p> &#x2022; Lead and scale multiple engineering teams and team leaders, fostering a strong, collaborative engineering culture</p><p> &#x2022; Drive the evolution of a large-scale, distributed, microservices-based platform</p><p> &#x2022; Lead the development of next-generation, AI-powered and agent-based products</p><p> &#x2022; Drive deep adoption of AI across the R&amp;D lifecycle &#x2014; from coding and testing to architecture and delivery</p><p> &#x2022; Introduce measurable frameworks to improve engineering productivity, quality, and delivery velocity</p><p> &#x2022; Work closely with Product, Business, and Executive leadership to align technology with company strategy</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>&#x2022; Proven experience leading large-scale R&amp;D organizations, including multiple teams and team leaders</p><p> &#x2022; 12+ years of hands-on software development experience</p><p> &#x2022; 5+ years in senior R&amp;D leadership roles (VP / Director level)</p><p> &#x2022; Strong experience managing complex environments with multiple products and/or external development teams</p><p> &#x2022; Deep understanding of modern architectures (microservices, distributed systems, cloud-native)</p><p> &#x2022; Hands-on experience with AI technologies and/or leading AI adoption in engineering organizations</p><p> &#x2022; Experience implementing engineering processes, standardization, and organizational scaling</p><p> &#x2022; Strong strategic thinking alongside high execution capability</p><p> &#x2022; Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills</p><p> &#x2022; High level of ownership, passion, and drive</p> </div>
