Position Overview-
Director / Senior Director of R&D driving strategic engineering leadership over a multi-disciplinary software division of 30–40 engineers, managing a structured hierarchy of four Engineering Team Leads and one R&D Group Manager.
Reporting directly to the global COO, operating as a high-level executive leader with zero hands-on coding requirements, purely focused on organizational scaling, cross-functional execution, and delivery ownership.
Leading a highly complex engineering organization tasked with architecting internal developer tooling, software enablement suites, and compiler-level software chains.
Steering the technical roadmap for software systems that interface directly with physical silicon layers, custom microprocessors, and system-on-chip (SoC) architectures.
Collaborating closely with global executive branches, hardware architecture boards, and product strategy units to synchronize chip-to-software launch lifecycles.
Engineering Ecosystem- C/C++, Embedded Systems Programming, Silicon Tooling, Python, Java, System-on-Chip (SoC) Architectures, Low-Level Software Frameworks, and Global Delivery Lines.
Requirements
Proven track record in senior executive R&D leadership roles (e.g., Director, Senior Director, or Head of Engineering), steering organizational strategy within top-tier engineering environments (Mandatory).
