System Administrator Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced System Admin Team Lead to lead and manage the organization's critical IT infrastructure environment across both on-premises and cloud platforms.

This role combines leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on technical expertise, with responsibility for enterprise-scale infrastructure operations, cloud services, virtualization, end-user platforms, and cybersecurity collaboration.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team responsible for the organization's critical IT infrastructure environments.

Manage the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of infrastructure services across on-premises and cloud platforms.

Ensure high availability, performance, and stability of business-critical systems, including participation in 24/7 operational support when required.

Build and execute annual infrastructure roadmaps aligned with business objectives.

Manage infrastructure budgets, procurement processes, vendor relationships, and software/hardware lifecycle management.

Lead infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and technology modernization initiatives.

Collaborate with business units, security teams, and external partners to deliver reliable and secure IT services.

Drive cloud optimization initiatives, including cost control, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience managing and supporting enterprise Windows Server environments.

Strong expertise in Active Directory (Multi-Domain/Multi-Forest), DNS, DHCP, PKI/CA, and Group Policy.

Proven experience managing VMware environments, including clusters, DRS/HA, host upgrades, and virtualization best practices.

Experience supporting enterprise server infrastructure, including HP and Dell platforms.

Strong knowledge of storage technologies (SAN/NAS) and virtual networking concepts.

Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments, including:, Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), FSLogix and/or Citrix UPM

Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities across complex infrastructure environments.

Experience managing hybrid infrastructures integrating on-premises environments with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP).

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Exchange Online administration.

Strong understanding of Microsoft licensing models (Core-based, CALs, M365) and Enterprise Agreements (EA).

Experience writing and maintaining PowerShell automation scripts.

Experience supporting infrastructure components such as firewalls, Commvault, MoveIt, IIS servers, and SQL servers.
